Many people today are quite deceived regarding what the Bible is. Are the current versions distributed widely to the public today a controlled Christian operation? Of course, but much of the Bible has been plagiarized and stolen from earlier pagan cultures.
How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the Lord is with us’? Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood. (Jeremiah 8:8)
There is no doubt that these writings have been tampered with. What you are seeing today is a perverted version, intermingled with portions of pagan theology. For instance, the name of God יְהֹוָה (YHWH, the Tetragrammaton) is contained on a Moabite stone (Mesha Stele) before any later Hebrew usages.
This is a pagan stone. And although some may read a later historical context into such mythos engraved on a rock, the writings themselves read similar to the Epic of Gilgamesh (which likewise contains Biblical parallelism, e.g. David & Goliath/ Gilgamesh & Humbaba), and Yahweh is simply another pagan God within the pantheon of war, similar to the Greek Gods.

Note this theme of astro-theology. Before this sentence, the phrase "I looked down on him" is mentioned, and therefore hints to a stellar reference, as Chemosh is linked to Venus (Ashtar) in this same inscription. Thus, this is not a historical account of Israel, but rather, a reference of a primitive pantheon in a Moabite culture. The famous "name of God" as we know it, was totally polytheistic.
In fact, the name El Elyon (Gen 14:18) is a direct reference to the Canaanite deity El, who was originally found in a polytheistic system of theology as the husband of Asherah. The story of Moses is strikingly parallel to the story of Sargon of Akkad. The virgin birth notion of God's son is taught in the Bacchae regarding Dionysus. The resurrection of Osiris, the birth of Horus via Isis, etc., no doubt, there are many comparisons regarding the content accumulated in the Bible. Not to mention the fact Lucifer is a pagan Latin term applied to Gods in the early century (e.g. Phosphorus and Eosphorus). The fact of the matter is, not only is Jesus identified as lucifer in the Latin Vulgate version of 2 Peter 1:19, but the Messiah says He is "the bright and morning star" in Revelation 22:16. This is a reference to the planet Venus.
Thus, it is no surprise the Gnostics and Grimoires such as the Key of Solomon approach the invocations in this very manner.
"God of Abraham . . . I humbly pray through the invocation of your name, though I am not worthy to invoke it." (Grimorium Verum, Of the aspersion of the water)
Some may confuse such readings as "Christian prayers" (ignorant of this fact), yet as we can see above, these references are all initially older, and were stolen from pantheistic cultures of old. Even "Abraham" is taken from the Gnostic deity known as Abraxas (cf. PGM), and this is hinted at in Isaiah 63:16 where Abraham (aka Abraxas) is placed in opposition to Yahweh, at a later time of Isaiah.
It is no wonder that the priest "brought out bread" in Genesis 14:18 and blessed Abraham, for as can be seen in the above image, Abraxas is being given a bread offering!
The Gnostic "Jesus" (Christos, Antoined One) was Satan Himself, which is why Christianity condemns the Gnostic teaching as evil heresy. In other words, the church is teaching a "false christ" (Matthew 24:24; 2 Cor 11:4), and the Gnostics were teaching the true God (Satanas, Saturos, Pan). Society is automatically trained to think of evil when a God of horns appears, yet that is exactly how Jesus is depicted in Revelation 5:6!
Moreover, just look at the Pseudepigrapha; the texts are pretty much all likewise rejected by Christians across the church, yet contain these pantheistic and spiritual themes. Even King Solomon can be seen as an archetype, dating back to king Sennacherib in Assyria (the original Solomon, if you will). He is no doubt the highlight of many of these Demonical texts.
The true God is Lucifer (see Pantheism) and the church has flipped this theology backwards, apparently to deceive the multitudes. As the Grimorium Verum teaches, claiming in the Publishers Note that "the secrets of this science were scorned for centuries by the despots and leaders", and says "in order to keep the people bound in ignorance." The Archons (evil spirits) are indeed working through mankind using them as vessels of corruption.
"I saw that all the writings and wisdom of this present age were vain and futile, and that no man was perfect." (The Key of Solomon)
In other words, the idea of a book containing the truth and being taken as a given is not the reality. The books have been tampered with, and it is on the pneumatic (i.e. the enlightened person) who possesses a divine spark within to discern between the good and bad fruit, resulting to omens and divination in order to differentiate between spirits.
Divination is on the lips of the king; his mouth will not transgress in judgment. (Proverbs 16:10)
